Another fine hunt!

James, Ed Hampton and I detected Ramsey HS last Saturday (12-20-08) and James made the best Ramsey find so far, a beautiful 1929 standing liberty quarter. Over the last couple of Saturdays several members including myself had detected the area where the quarter was found but not well enough. Way to go James! I found my second buffalo this year with a date.
The three of us headed over to Ingram park hoping for a few oldies but after a half hour of finding only clad and a Kennedy half we decided to move on especially after a friend of Ed's called and told him that he had seen a foot of dirt brought in when the park was renovated.
James and I tried some median strips around Southside but only found clad and then finished the day back at Magnolia park where James found another wheat.
